Jewelry artist Lucia Olson launches Just Fore You, a new line of ultra-elegant pieces for women who golf.
Bainbridge Island, Wash. (June 25, 2009):  Northwest jewelry artist Lucia Olson is proud to announce Just Fore You, her newest line of contemporary jewelry inspired by golf and the sophisticated, accomplished women who play it.

Lucia, a sportswoman herself, understands both the value of comfort and the edge that comes in feeling special when you play. Her signature bracelets are artisan-crafted creations that are elegant enough for dinner at the club, wearable and unobtrusive enough for a full 18 holes.
The Just Fore You line is as clever as it is beautiful. By mixing gold and silver with diamonds, sapphires, and semi-precious stones, Lucia subtly but distinctively incorporates golf motifs into her designs. About Lucia Olson
As a child, Lucia sat at the knee of her Vermont grandfather, a Master Woodworker. She watched and learned, developing a respect and awareness for the process of creation and for all things natural and handmade. She also grew up in a family of golfers. These combined influences naturally led her to design and produce pieces specifically for women who love the game.
Lucia’s formal training began at Stanford University, where she received a degree in art. Studying across time and cultures, she learned how different jewelry-making techniques were developed and now pours them into her work.
Lucia worked in advertising and fundraising for many years, including a stint in the women’s athletic program at the University of Washington. A self-described “product of Title IX,” she firmly believes in the transformative impact of sports in the lives of women of all ages. 
Since 1997, Lucia has lived in a beautiful 1916 yellow farmhouse on Bainbridge Island, Wash.,  with her family, a menagerie of animals, and a 1951 Chevy pickup named "Jessy.” She draws inspiration from her active island life, which includes many sports, enjoying the water and its creatures, and feeling the warmth of a small community. 
In addition to the Just Fore You line, Lucia has designed and produced the “edgy, upcycled” Urban Treasures jewelry line as well as the Islandlulu line — “the essence of nature in silver” — and an eclectic line of fused copper jewelry, Fusion.
